New students join lab
Jan 14, 2008 - Two new PhD students have joined the Zappe lab this semester, Daniel Delubac and Ryan Kellogg. Daniel has been researching in the lab since June, when he started an internship to complete his master's degrees in Engineering Physics from both the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées, Rennes, France and the Ecole Polytechnique de Montréal, Montréal, Canada. Ryan joins us after completing undergraduate studies in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Biomedical Engineering at CMU last May and a master's in Engineering Technology and Innovation Management from CMU in December.
Sasha Bakhru, Dowd fellow
Sept 28, 2007 - Sasha Bakhru, who was awarded a Dowd-ICES fellowship last spring, presented his research proposal, "Cell-instructive Polymeric Microcapsules and Genetically Engineered Neural Stem Cells for Treatment of Hunter Syndrome", at the Dowd seminar held today.
